How do you create a beef rub with a clean label, without MSG and still pack in tons of the “umami” deep rich flavor that people want and need when cooking beef? It took me awhile to get it all dialed in, but what you get out of every bottle of Grilla Grill’s Beef Rub is 10 years of experimentation, competition know how, and culinary creativity. This rub is great on everything, beef for sure, and it’s just as at home on brisket as it is burgers and steaks. But that’s not the whole story. Try mixing some of this rub into your ground turkey and places that you want more of the deep rich flavor, you will be surprised by the results. Grilla’s Beef Rub’s balance of salt, pepper and umami flavors are balanced in a way that allows different flavors to rise to the top depending on when you apply to the meat. If you apply it as a coating to brisket and let it rest over night before cooking it will create a great bark and deep peppery flavor.
